The Oval: Test Match Cricket Since 1880 - David Mortimer
The first of what will hopefully be a series, David Mortimer reviews every Test played at England's oldest international venue. Full scorecards and match reports for every game are brought alive by comments and reminiscences of those who played, watched and organized them. The book kicks off with a brief history of the ground.

Old Trafford: Test Match Cricket Since 1884 - David Mortimer
The second book in this series, simultaneously released with a similar work on The Oval, follows an identical format in dealing with what Mortimer himself described as "not the most seductive of Test grounds." But there is no doubting its history, and in that regard few venues can match Old Trafford. He writes with a passion, as you would expect as it is the author's home ground, and narratives of each match are brought to life by comments and recollections from those who took part in them.
